Village of Big Springs NOW HIRING: Seasonal Part-time Maintenance Worker
The Village of Big Springs is excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented Seasonal Part-Time Maintenance Worker to join our team and help maintain the beauty of our community!
Position Details:
- Starting Pay: $1,800 per month (paid monthly)
- Schedule: Up to 30 hours per week, no more than 30 hours
- Duration: Position begins as soon as possible after hiring and runs through October 31, 2025
Key Responsibilities: As a Seasonal Maintenance Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing Village properties, including Veteran’s Memorial Park, Swimming Pool Park, Eiker Park, Depot Museum, and the Village Office. Your duties will ensure these spaces remain clean, well-maintained, and inviting to the community. Responsibilities include:
- Mowing, trimming, watering, and fertilizing public areas
- Performing weed control and litter removal
- Sweeping sidewalks and keeping walkways tidy
- Assisting with other maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Superintendent
This role is perfect for someone with a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and a passion for keeping public spaces in top condition.
